I am a fifth year PhD Student in
the Michigan State University, Statistics
Department, advised by Professor Hira Koul.
I got my B.S. in Statistics from Gorkahpur University and M.S. Statistics from Pune University.
I have worked for a year as Associate Consultant in Genpact, India before coming for PhD at Michigan
State Unievsrity. I am grateful for generous support from College of Natural Science and Statistics Department for pre-doctoral fellowship for
acdemic year 2015-2016.
My research is focused at the intersection of theoretical and applied
statistics. I am interested in non-parametric statistics, estimation of covariance matrices, variable selection and high dimensional data analysis.
I particularly enjoy to develop statistical methods and learn the techniques from other disciplines to solve real-world problems.
